Heinemann’s Pocket Editions were published from sometime around 1907 through at least the 1920s. A revised series was issued after WW2 with about 30-40 titles; the series was slightly renamed as Heinemann Pocket Editions in the 1940s series.
An advertisement for the Heinemann’s Pocket Editions from 1907 includes the choice of cloth or leather bindings for 2/- or 3/- respectively.
The post-WW2 Heinemann Pocket Editions seems to have lasted only about 3 years. Jackets are common to the series and a description of the book is included on the front jacket flap. The price is 5s. This copy indicates “Heinemann Pocket Edition March 1945, Reprinted June 1947.”
A few of the series titles are listed on the back of the dust jacket. Series titles seem to be mostly Heinemann back catalog reprints.
