Thomas Nelson & Sons issued titles in its Modern Anthology series from 1936 until 1938. The series was edited by Richard Wilson. The series consisted of new anthologies of modern literature selected by “editors of repute.”
The jackets are common to the series and relatively plain, with a simple graphic border and graphic on the front and a prospectus for the series on the front jacket flap. The series name and the serial number is included on the front of the jacket.
The price of titles in the series was 3s/6d. Nine titles are listed on the rear of the jacket; at least two more would be issued in 1938:
